Santa Monica College Life has always been filled with surprising experiences . Sometimes ,these experiences either help us to become better people or pull us down . Others are challenged by the experiences they face and eventually shine in the end . As a young child , I have always been determined to be successful in life . I have worked hard to fulfill my dreams and someday become known in my chosen field . With everything said , I believe that it would be beneficial if I continued my further education here at Santa Monica College . Before my application to this college , I completed a year at the University of St . Joseph in Beirut , Lebanon . Soon after , I was able to obtain my French Baccalaureate from (NAME OF THE UNIVERSITY . In addition to this , I was also able to complete two years of good education from the American University in Dubai . My knowledge about things was not confined in the four walls of the university . The different experiences I had in the universities I attended equipped me with enough knowledge that became beneficial in the fulfillment of my dreams and aspirations in life . I was also fortunate enough to be given that rare opportunity to learn five languages . I can fluently speak French , English , Spanish , Arabic , and Italian . I believe that this is to my advantage , for I may be able to stop communication barriers between workers . After my education was honed by the different academic institutions , I worked in different organizations that helped me develop myself more . I was once in the sales field , before being assigned in the accounting field . In addition to this , I also helped my father open two of his businesses . He was able to open a transportation company in Qatar , and a Catering company in Dubai . My task was to assist my father with the important documents needed by the company . From the business plan , to the auditing of the financial statements , and the execution of the decisions , I was present . So far , the responses given by his colleagues and acquaintances was astounding . I would never have felt any better , knowing that I was able to give something back to my father for all the hardships he has endured for me . When given the opportunity to study in your reputable institution , I plan to expand my knowledge further . I would bear in mind the different techniques , and try to apply these lessons in real life . Although my experiences have surpassed regions and people , I do believe that my continuing education would help me improve my craft more . After acquiring a degree from your university , I plan to open my own business . I would closely apply the lessons learned from the classroom setting to that of the business world . In addition to this , I would review the policies and other important details of my father ‘s company ,and try as much as possible to improve them .
