Education is a priceless investment that cannot be taken away from you no matter what transpires . It is something that we work hard for , a tedious four years or more of proving self-worth and exploring the limitless capacity of our brains . It does not just test us mentally the journey to getting the diploma puts us through several emotional ,physical and sometimes even spiritual ordeals . Fulfilling our aspirations is one of our purposes for being alive here on earth . These aspirations , some even as trifle as getting married to graduating with honors or owning a 100-billion dollar company , are the reason why we get inspired to move forward . I am a strong advocate of getting a college degree . Finishing in a distinguished university such as the University of Central Florida (UCF , has long been a desire of mine . It boasts of great culture and a remarkable academic program , most especially in my chosen field of study , Radiology . Accomplishing a goal is only half of the whole purpose it ‘s the rewards and the benefits that you get after this that completes the whole experience , making it an absolutely unsurpassed milestone . Being called an alumni of UCF itself is something to add to that self-esteem and self-worth , what more if I am to be called a Radiologist ? These are some of the rewards that are unparalleled by anything else in this world . But really , my satisfaction and fulfillment will definitely come from helping the people that I will cross paths with once I am a Radiologist already . I know that my role in the healthcare improvement of those who are in need of medical interventions will only play a small one compared to the doctors and the nurses , but I believe that I am still a part of the team . And as a part of the healthcare team , I vow that I will do my best to be of service to those who need me . In this endeavor I believe that UCF is the only school that will be able to help me . Years back , I did not know that I was geared towards this profession . I was taking up Electrical Engineering , and I still found myself helping others . I think that my mathematical abilities surpass those of the others hence I tutored my peers and friends . It was what I did during my free time . Not only did I offer my mentoring to the mathematically challenged friends of mine , but I also taught electrical engineering courses . Since then , I have not stopped helping . I believe that this time is the right time for me to get my education and to finish it . I have prepared myself mentally and emotionally , and I know that I have the support of my family and friends which I deem very important .
